I am Dr. Ozi, a wife, mother, scientist, podcaster, and author located in Nashville, TN, USA.
After relocating to the United States in 2010 as a graduate student, I aspired to stay and work in the country as a scientist following the completion of my degree. It didn’t take long for me to discover that the U.S. government already had a pathway to permanent residency for individuals with my background.
In 2019, I accomplished a self-petition for a U.S. Permanent Resident status through the merit-based Employment-Based Second Preference National Interest Waiver Category (EB2NIW), thereby transitioning from a student visa status. This achievement was made without the aid of a lawyer or sponsor.
I produced videos to inform eligible professionals in the fields of arts, business, and science that they can obtain a US green card through the EB2NIW category if they hold an advanced degree and plan to work in a field that benefits the United States. Additionally, I wrote an eBook and established an Instagram page @eb2niw to offer consulting services specifically to assist valuable professionals in obtaining the necessary tools to stay in the United States and pursue their exceptional work.
To assist qualified professionals such as doctors, lawyers, economists, teachers, scientists, and others who contribute value to the United States in remaining and continuing their remarkable work, I authored an eBook, produced videos, established a separate page @eb2niw from my podcast @africanprincessinamerica, and now provide consulting services.
